This is a Reproduction Model 1742 British Brown Bess Musket. This model added a Brass nose cap to the Long Land Musket. Our Musket has a case hardened Frizzen, that throws plenty of good sparks. The 46 inch 75 Cal barrel is made of Type BS-970. Total length is 63 inches and weighs 11 pounds. Thousands of these muskets were stored in state arsenals at the end of the French and Indian war in 1763. When the American Revolutionary War broke out the Americans seized these arms for use by the patriots. It would be correct for a Continental solider impression. We test fire each Musket with a 75 grain charge of pyrodex.Shipping is $35.00 to the lower 48 . Sale Pending
