Description:
This 45 caliber Plains rifle has a browned straight octagon 32” x 15/16” barrel with 1:66 twist that is fitted with fixed sights. The bore is good with deep rifling. A P grade Walnut half stock is mounted with brass furniture, including a poured pewter nose cap. No cracks or chips seen on the stock. The Hawken style percussion lock is activated by a single trigger. Please Note: This is a good solid functional rifle. The only drawback is cosmetic due to builder’s error – attachment pin holes misdrilled and unused mounting holes drilled in the trigger guard. Length of pull is 13-1/2”, Overall length is 47”, Weight is 8.8 lbs. Good wood to metal fit – Maker Unknown. Condition: Good.
