Description:
This left hand 20 Ga Fowler has a blued 42” tapered octagon to single wedding band to tapered round 1-16” to 1” to 11/16” smoothbore jug choked barrel that is fitted with a brass front sight. Stamped on the top flat is London and on the bottom flat is 20  1238 and the inscription Caywood Gun Makers Berryville, AR.  The bore is smooth and shiney. The P++ grade Maple stock is mounted with nicely engraved brass furniture including a decorative German Silver thumb piece with the initials VB lightly inscribed in the center. A large Round Faced left hand flint lock is activated by a single trigger. All the steel screw heads have been fire blued, including the top jaw screw and the rear sling button. Length of pull is 14”. Overall Length is 57-1/2”. Weight is 7.6 lbs. Good to Very Good wood to metal fit – made by Caywood Gun Makers, Berryville, AR. Condition: Good to Very Good.
