This rifle depicts a Lehigh gun, ca. 1810, or so. Patterned after the work of Stofil Long & Peter Angstadt. It has a .50 caliber rifled barrel, 42" long and 7/8" untapered, flat-to-flat. The lock is an L&R, stock is curly maple with brass & Geramn silver inlays.
The stock is a two-piece arrangement with a joint about 4" ahead of the entry pipe.
The entire rifle is mildly antiqued.
