Muzzle loading Percussion rifle - likely converted - no makers name
Description: Overall Length 50"
Percussion Musket, a traditional black powder muzzle-loading rifle built with a percussion lock and known for its simple and sturdy design. It reflects the style common in the United Kingdom during the period and offers the straightforward function expected from early military and civilian long guns.
This example appears to be a muzzle loader likely converted from an earlier flintlock. There is a repair near the top by the tang, and the left side of the stock is stamped with the number 466. It has no maker’s name and keeps its .700 caliber bore with a 38-inch barrel and a 50-inch overall length. Made in the United Kingdom in 1900, it remains a solid antique percussion rifle.
