This 54 caliber Plains rifle has a browned straight octagon 30” x 1” barrel with 1:66 twist that is fitted with fixed sights. Stamped on the right flat is Matz for builder Ron Matz of Oregon. The bore is very good with deep rifling. A P+++ Quilt Maple half stock is mounted with browned steel furniture, including a poured pewter nose cap. No cracks or chips seen on the stock. The custom engraved by artist signed MD L&R Hawken percussion lock is activated by MSM double set triggers. Comes with a black fiberglass ramrod. Length of pull is 13”, Overall length is 44-1/4”, Weight is 8.6 lbs. Good wood to metal fit – made by Ron Matz – Oregon. Condition: Good to Very Good.
