According to the historians who have looked at it, it is considered a historic piece, one to finest ones made by George Stanford in the style of Isaac Haynes, which was the true Lancaster style of Rifle back in the day. Chambered in 50 caliber with a 48" barrel, and a 1 by 66 twist. Firearm is in mint condition, and the bore is perfect. Has a curly maple stock, which is also in perfect condition. Brass engravings on the rear of the stock, with brass fittings along the length of the stock and the ramrod housing. This rifle is a Davy Crockett lookalike.
