This gun looks good with an aged brow patina and a 37" smooth bore barrel with two lines of pitting opposite each other, like the gun was stored muzzle down. Caliber is about .69. The European hardwood is good and the lock works well and the frizzen has a strong shower of sparks. The barrel could possibly be honed out to remove some of the pittinges with an iron ram-rod. The gun has unusual barrel bands held with band springs so this is a much older gun than made in the past 50 years. TThe hammer evidently had been modified to fit this back action lock, most likely by the maker, as these were oftern sold to natives under colonial control,es with a buckskin leather slip on sling. The furniture is steel and has aged brown patina. Barrel has proofs and MADE IN BELGIUM. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check.
