The top flat of the barrel is inscribed with R Carpenter. This rifle has numerous tastefully engraved inlays, including a patch box, wrist inlay, toe plate, comb plate, forestock wear plate, and cheek piece inlay. The working components are a L&R Durs Egg percussion lock and RE Davis double set triggers. Length of pull is 13-3/4". Good wood to metal fit - made by Bob Carpenter - California.
