Description:
A clean and gently used Navy Arms 1863  rifle with a 40" clean rifled bore  of .58 caliber,  and the 1864 dated lock plate is dated, and the proper Eagle , U.S. Springfield, and Navy Arms roll died barrel markings. The metal parts are in the whitee as issued  and original. The walnut stock is very clean with no isues and comes with a leather sling also.Has front and rear correct sights and steel tulip tipped ram-rod and wooden bore tampion.Near the breech on the left side is stamped Japan,No. 025,  which translates into made by Mirakou. Some roughness near the nipple from re-enactor use. Overall one of the best made 1863 made copies.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith  before  shooting.
