Up for sale is a very clean Olympic Arms CAR-223 / M.F.R. chambered in 5.56 NATO. This rifle features the classic early AR-15 configuration with an A2 carry handle upper, fixed front sight, CAR-style handguards, collapsible stock, and a factory stainless steel barrel.

Based on the serial number prefix and available production information, this rifle appears to have been manufactured in the early 1990s (approximately 1991–1992), prior to the 1994 Federal Assault Weapons Ban. Olympic Arms was one of the earliest commercial AR-15 manufacturers and built many rifles with their well-regarded stainless steel barrels.
