The JAKL is built on a long stroke piston action and features a monolithic receiver to minimize zero shift with optics and laser aiming devices. The rifle also features a reversible charging handle along with an adjustable gas block for use with a sound suppressor. An M-LOK handguard allows for quick and easy mounting of flashlights, forgrips or bipods and is paired with an ACR-style buttstock that sports an adjustable length of pull and cheek height.

This model features and all-black finish along with a 14.5-inch barrel that is paired with a pinned and welded flash hider. The receiver comes with a Magpul MOE SL pistol grip. One 30-round magazine is included.
