This Parker Hale 1861 Enfield Musketoon is a high-quality reproduction of the classic British two-band Artillery Carbine. It features a 24" rifled barrel, adjustable ladder rear sight, fixed blade front sight, and bayonet lug. The action has a nicely case-colored hammer and trigger, and the straight-grip hardwood stock carries the correct Parker-Hale cartouche on the right side with brass furniture.
According to the original vintage Parker Hale catalog, this model is described as an “Artillery carbine, two band. Calibre .577” with a 24" barrel, seasoned walnut stock, solid brass furniture, and cold-forged barrel with 3 grooves of progressive depth (1 in 48" twist).
Condition shows excellent metal finishes with handling marks and marring to the wood, consistent with field use. Includes a leather sling. A very nice example of the Parker Hale Enfield Musketoon, ideal for Civil War reenacting, historical shooting, or collection.
