.577 cal Serial # S1130 Two-band cavalry carbine. Straight grip walnut stock with brass buttplate, trigger guard, and forend tip. Ladder adjustable rear, fixed blade front sight.Case-colored lock marked “1861 Enfield” with crown over “PH.” Parker-Hale cartouche on right side of stock.Metal surfaces very good with some pitting at nipple; abrasions to wood.
