This is a desirable Parker-Hale Whitworth Target / Sniper Rifle in .451 caliber with the famous hexagonal bore. Made in Birmingham, England, this reproduction is highly regarded for its long-range accuracy and faithful recreation of the original Civil War-era Whitworth sniper rifle.
The 33" barrel retains 97% of its original blue finish, and the bore is excellent and bright. The case-colored lock is clearly marked “PARKER HALE,” and the checkered walnut stock carries the desirable Parker-Hale cartouche. Minor finish loss is present at the breech and around the lock area.

Mechanically fine and ready to shoot with proper .451 Whitworth projectiles. These rifles are favorites among black-powder target shooters and Civil War reenactors for their exceptional accuracy at distance.
