Hammerguns - Bores bright and rifling sharp on this rare little double rifle. Overall excellent condition and from a gun completed in 1884! I know this babu will shoot! The proof lends us to believe the proof is for the 2 9/16" case but with a chamber cast the actual chamber length is 2 7/8" so either the chamber has been lengthened or is an early Purdey prototype.
