Remington 700 Sendero Bolt Action Rifle in .270 Winchester **Long Range Rig - HS Precision stock - Tasco World Class Scope - Scarce in this Caliber**
Description: For consideration is a nice Remington Model 700 Sendero bolt action rifle in .270 Winchester caliber. The .270 Winchester is a rifle cartridge developed by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1923 and it was unveiled in 1925 as a chambering for their bolt-action Model 54 to become arguably the flattest shooting cartridge of its day, only competing with the .300 Holland & Holland Magnum, also introduced in the same year. The Remington Model 700 is a series of bolt-action centerfire rifles manufactured by Remington Arms since 1962. It is a development of the Remington 721 and 722 series of rifles, which were introduced in 1948. The M24 and M40 military sniper rifles, used by the US Army and Marine Corps, respectively, are both based on the Model 700 design. The Model 700 Sendero is a finely tuned tack-driver created using input from serious shooters across America. The HS Precision stock is reinforced with aramid fibers and features contoured beavertail fore-end with ambidextrous finger grooves and palm swell. The barrel is virtually a bull barrel but it does have a slight tapering going towards the muzzle. The trigger is very short, crisp and light. The rifle has a Leupold one piece base installed with rings and a very nice Tasco 6-24x50 parallax adjustable scope with 1" main tube. The barrel is free floated inside the stock's barrel channel.
