Description:
The pump rifle is the woods-runner's gun. They are short, and (relatively) light, for carry in dense woods where action can be sudden. This one was manufactured in 1954, based upon the barrel code. It is in good condition showing a few scattered pits, and a little rust just inside the muzzle. The wood stands proud of the metal, but it does appear to have been lightly sanded and then finished with a coat of oil-finish. .300 Savage

Chambers: 4 rounds
Metal Condition: Good. The blue is a bit worn at the carry point and there are a few shallow pits.
Wood Condition: Very good. It does look like it has been sanded lightly and then finished with a coating of oil. They did a nice job of it.
Bore Condition: A little dark but shiny and has good rifling.
Barrels: 22 inches
Triggers: Factory trigger
Stock Dimensions:

Fore End: Well-matched walnut.
Butt Pad: Blacked aluminum plate.
Weight: 8 lb - 1 oz incl scope
Sights: Gold bead and notch open sights. Drilled and tapped for scope. Outfitted with a vintage 1.5-4x Bushnell Banner scope.
