Pre-Owned Remington Hepburn Falling Block Target Rifle chambered in .38 x 1 3/4" with 29 5/8" Heavy Octagonal barrel marked "E. Remington & Sons. Ilion. N.Y."  Browned barrel with some finish wear but 85%++ original finish remains. Adjustable target sights installed, double set triggers. Finish on receiver is mostly worn but metal and marked "Hepburns Pat. Oct 7th 1879" which is sharp and crisp. Factory stock is in excellent condition, brass butt plate shows some patina. Checkering is still sharp, wood finish is in excellent condition. Bore is in relatively good condition, still shiny but with some frosting and minor flaking, crown is in excellent  condition, lands and grooves are strong and crisp. Stock and forearm are factory serialized to the action. Double triggers are not functioning properly, front trigger only drops  hammer when set.
