Remington 592M chambered in 5mm Remington Rimfire Magnum. This is a tube fed bolt action rifle with a 24" round barrel with front blade sight, quarter rib rear sight with receiver dovetailed as well as factory tapped with a cover plate for a side mount allowing multiple scope mounting options. Walnut stock has factory "Remington 5MM MAGNUM" marked grip cap and factory Remington butt plate. A very rare model was only made for 4 years from 1969-1973. This example is in excellent condition. It has a Weaver 2.5x20 Scope. The 5mm Remington Rimfire Magnum is a bottlenecked rimfire cartridge introduced by Remington Arms Company in 1969. It offers higher velocity and more energy than the older .22 WMR and the newer .17 HMR. It is appropriate for use in small game and varmint hunting. 5mm Remington Rimfire Magnum
