Here is a really cool rifle. It is a Remington Model 14-1/2 and is chambered for the 44-40 WCF round. This rmodel was a short production run with not many made. This particular rifle is one of the 4000 purchased by Great Britain in 1914 and used aboard Canadian Navy vessels for defense against mines and German E and U boats. This rifle has the Canadian Acceptance stamp on the barrel and a rack number on the left side of the receiver. It is rifle number D188. Very rare and very cool part of WWI Canadian, British, and world history. Thanks for looking!
