The Model 141 Gamemaster was Remington’s improved successor to the Model 14 and is well known for its smooth slide action, solid takedown-style construction, spiral magazine tube, and reputation as a dependable woods rifle. Chambered here in .30 Remington, this rifle represents a great example of the kind of American deer rifle that saw honest field use rather than life in a safe.
This rifle shows honest wear consistent with age and hunting use. The metal retains good finish with handling marks and thinning appropriate for a vintage sporting rifle. The wood shows expected field marks, small dings, and wear, but presents well overall. The rifle has not been refinished to my knowledge. Bore condition is good , and the action cycles properly.
