FACTORY ENGRAVED REMINGTON MODEL 12-C DELUXE PREMIER GRADE .22RF CAL. PUMP RIFLE CIRCA 1916. .22 short, long and long rifle octagon 24” barrel and having the original Model 12 sights including the scarce tang sight. Fully engraved with the characteristic “rabbit and squirrel” panel scenes identified with this top of the line engraving. Right side of frame with a running squirrel a two rabbits in a diamond panel on the left. Balance of the engraving done in classic American scroll. Deluxe checkered walnut stock and forend. 100% original in every respect In very good plus to fine condition with approximately 60% blue evenly mixed with nice dark patina. Very sharp engraving and markings with the metal very nice in general. Wood with the original finish showing wear on the checkering and a repairable hairline crack behind the frame along the right tang and a very small one near the nob of the pistol grip on the left side. These are very easily restored to perfect condition by a good stock man. Working order. Reasonably good bore with some fowling and wear which should clean better. Very scarce and desirable Remington. Purportedly from the Bliss Family.
