High Condition Remington Model 12A Slide Action 22 Rifle Built 1913
Description:
Serial #194832, .22 S,L,LR, 22 inch round barrel with a near excellent bright bore with two isolated spots of pitting near the muzzle and about mid way. This is the Model 12A take down pump action rifle manufactured by Remington in 1913, the first year of the letter designations, featuring the Lyman Tang Peep sight and the combination Lyman front sight with ivory bead. The barrel and frame show about 95-97% of the original blue finish with crisp markings having some scattered tiny freckles and handling marks, the magazine tube shows some very light use marks in the wear points. The stock and forearm are both solid with some light surface handling and use marks. It has the original Remington UMC hard rubber butt plate which has one tiny flake at the toe. There is a later extended sight blank in the rear sight dove tail. An excellent example of these desirable Pre-WWI Model 12A rifles. FFL or C&R
