The Fieldmaster 121 series is a .22 caliber, slide action, tubular magazine-fed rifle manufactured by Remington Arms between 1936 and 1954. The Remington Model 121SB Mo-Skeet-O Bore is one of the more rare and collectible variants of the Remington 121 Fieldmaster line. Unlike the more common Routledge Bore, the Mo-Skeet-O Bore was specifically marketed in the late 1930s and 1940s for use in the Remington Mo-Skeet-O shooting game, a promotional backyard clay target shooting kit using miniature clay pigeons and .22 shot shells. This example, features the correct 23½" smoothbore barrel and is marked "MO-SKEET-O BORE." These rifles were produced in very limited numbers and are highly sought after today by Remington collectors and enthusiasts of unusual rimfire firearms.
