Remington Model 550-1 Semi - Auto .22 LR Rifle - Smooth walnut pistol grip style stock and forend. 24 in. barrel with open adj. rear sight and a front bead sight. Power piston design which allows the use of short, long and long rifle ammo. Tubular magazine with 15 LR caacity. Butt plate in excellent condition . Receiver grooved for scope and fitted with a ejection defletor . Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 90% bluing. Stock and forend are in excellent condition with virtually no handling marks. Includes a new rifle sleeve. Beautifully maintained by previous owner. Manufactured from 1939 to 1970. This one was manufactured in 1945.
