Description: Remington Model 6 in .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle. This is an outstanding example of an early 20th century single shot rifle intended for young boys and girls. Small in length, but high in quality, the Remington used a simple rolling block breech design in which the hammer is put on half cock and the breech block is pulled back and down exposing the chamber and activating the ejector for easy loading and unloading. The Model 6 was manufactured from 1902-1933 as a simple takedown rifle.
