Remington no. 4 22lr

Description:
A semi-restored late generation remington no. 4 takedown in 22 long rifle. Receiver has been color case hardened and screws are fire blued. Tang has been drilled and tapped with 1.5" screw spacing. Wood has retained a vintage look with its various battle scars under a smooth oil finish. Bedded forearm. 24" heavy round barrel that I was told is a green mountain 1:16" chrome molly. 3/8" front dovetail cut with no provision for a rear sight. From what best I can measure and conclude: a standard spec field chamber was used.
