Remington 40 XB KS .220 Swift Repeater with Kevlar Stock and Scope
Description: PRICE REDUCED, WAS $1799.99, NOW $1299.99!! Scope not included. Remington 40 XB KS Chambered in .220 Swift. This 40 X is a repeater, not a single shot. I traded for this 40X because I wanted a long range rabbit rifle. I have a friend who raises alfalfa on several thousand acres in Newcastle, Utah. When I got this rifle, he was having a huge problem with jack rabbits eating his alfalfa. Their appetite for his crop was costing him thousands of dollars. I would set up my bench on a rise overlooking his field and would take 50 or 60 rabbits every week. They would come into his fields just at dusk. The problem was that some of them were over 400 yards away. If I did my part this 40 X was accurate enough to thump them from long range, and the Swift was very effective. There are some marks on the stock, mainly on the left side where one night I forgot my front rest and had to improvise. The scratches do not affect the accuracy and with a little work and some cerracote, the stock would look new. The bore is bright with sharp riflings. 40 X repeaters are getting harder to find, most are single shots. This one will serve you well. Buyer pays Shipping and insurance charges.
