Excellent Remington Model 660 Rifle Desirable 222 Remington with Scope
Description: Excellent condition Remington Model 660 bolt action rifle, blued and walnut finish, 20" barrel, top feed, desirable caliber 222 Remington, with black fore end cap, black grip cap, black Remington plastic butt plate, all having the white line spacers, grip cap has a white plastic diamond inlay as well that is factory, made from 1968 to 1971 only, very desirable Remington made in Ilion, NY. Any Ilion-made Remingtons made before the bankruptcy have become highly desirable collector guns. Stock is excellent with no splits, no cracks, no extra holes, a few handling marks especially on the underside of the fore arm area and some nice grain flow, sharp original checkering. Bluing is all there with very minor loss from wear, about 98%. Bore is outstanding; action is smooth/strong with a properly working two-position safety. Original front sight is intact with the rear sight removed to accomodate the scope (Bushnell Scopemaster 6X scope installed with Weaver one-piece base and rings). Please have a gunsmith check it over before firing. Please note that Daphne, my photogenic female yellow lab found in some of the pictures, is not included with the rifle.
