Custom 700 Rem Blueprinted 700 action, Threads recut, receiver lugs and face squared, bolt face squared and bolt lugs recut. Custom ground recoil lug. Chambered in 20 Practical.. 27.5" Bartlein gain twist barrel, 9 to 8.5 twist. Rifle weighs 12 lbs. This was built to shoot 55 gr. Bergers, about the time all the 55 gr. bullets disappeared, so it sat in the gun safe for years. It shoots the 55s in the 3s, and 40 gr bullets in the 2s. Trigger is close to 5 oz. It has a single shot adaptor in the magazine. Glass bedded and ready to go.  Bartlein sells these gain twist barrels at a premium and stick you with 100 dollar shipping. This one has less than 100 rds through it. I just got a load worked up when all the Bergers disappeared, that explains the low round count. I see Graf & Sons sells the 55 gr. Bergers from time to time. It looks like they get a batch in and sell pretty quickly and you have to wait for another batch to come in. Shooting these high BC bullets will surprise you how well they hold up in the wind and how flat they fly. A rock chuck at 500 yards is pretty much DOA. Hammer bullets available now might be a great option. The 20 Practical is nothing but a 223 necked to .204. You get about the same performance as a .204 Ruger with much cheaper brass available. I just cut the base off of .204 Ruger dies to load ammo, no custom dies needed. Selling at a serious discount of what it would cost to have one like it put together today.  $1,700.00  I'll pay shipping and insurance. Money order will work for payment.
