Description:
A good old piece of American firearms history. It's not collector quality as the stock has been refinished. Metalwork is very good. Bore is very nice. This rifle does not appear to have been shot very much. It has a blind magazine. Feeds cartrodges just fine. A few impressions in the stock. There is a repaired crack by the front of the trigger guard. These old blind magazine models are tricky to reassemble if you are not used to them. The magazine housing has to be taped to hold its shape while you get it in the stock and then put it in the barreled action. If you have ever taken one apart from the get go you will find the factory tape around the housing as there is no way to remove it once the housing has been placed in the hollowed out cavity and the barreled action put in place.
There is an inexpensive Weaver 3-9 scope mounted and it will come with the rifle. Correct factory butt plate present. Rear sight long gone with filler screws installed. All-in-all, a nice outfit.
I can take additional pictures that can be emailed so don't hesitate to ask.
If you are from California be VERY certain your dealer will accept from an individual WITHOUT a bunch of extra baloney. Same for anyone else. I do not hold an FFL. If your dealer will only accept from another dealer then you will pay the $25 fee local dealers charge to run the rifle through their books.
If you are a reloader I will include 100 used cases with the purchase.
