Description: For sale is an very nice, early production Remington 700 BDL in 6mm caliber. It has a 22" barrel, early Flur-de-lis pressed checkering, and original metal butt plate. The serial number, 238437, matches the sn on the bolt. The date code is DN (Sept. 1966). This 700 appears to have not been shot outside of the factory. A borescope view shows the bore in perfect condition with no copper or carbon following. The blueing is 99%. There is is no visable ware on the bolt face, locking lugs, or the barrel, receiver and floorplate. See photos. The stock shows a few minor safe marks, with one scuff on the top right side at rear of the stock. See photo. Included is an early Leupold 4x scope with Buehler rings and mounts. The front and rear sights appear to have been removed, but there is no damage to the front or rear sight screws. All inquiries are welcome. FFL required. No California sales. Shipping is actual cost.
