Remington 700 BDL Custom .6mm/.284
Description:
This is a Remington 700 that started out as a BDL Varmint .243. The previous owner had it rebarreled in 6mm/.284. The rifle is UNfired since the rebarrel. The barrel is unstamped except for the caliber. I do know that he had Shaw in Bridgeville, PA. do the work. It has a 26" SS barrel that measures .825 at the muzzle with a recessed crown. Not 100% sure of the twist but I did use the cleaning rod technique and the best I can come up withis 1 in 10 on the twist.
The stock is the original brass pin, RKW finish with cut checkering. Some very light handling marks but no scratches, cracks, or big dings.It comes with what looks like Leupold 2 pc mounts and rings with Torx screws. Overall it is a 98% piece. I can send additional pictures upon request.
