Remington 700 KS – The Ultimate Lightweight Magnum – 7mm STW
For sale is a Remington Model 700 KS (Kevlar Stock) Synthetic Camo bolt-action rifle, chambered in the powerful and flat-shooting 7mm STW (Shooting Times Westerner). This rifle is in excellent used condition and represents a rare, limited-production Custom Shop offering from Remington's KS series – the lightest, toughest Model 700 rifle available when it was offered from the mid-1980s to early 2000s. Serial Number: G6246060. Barrel code CG indicates approximately April 1986 manufacture.
The KS series features a synthetic stock reinforced with DuPont Kevlar, making it dimensionally stable and incredibly tough. The dark gray camo finish on the stock has a very flat color scheme, making it virtually invisible to game in open country. The stock has a pistol grip, straight comb, cheekpiece, and sling studs on the belly and forend. The metal has a dark gray finish that complements the stock. The rifle has a 24-inch barrel and is drilled and tapped for scope mounting (no scope or rings included). Overall length is 44 inches.
