The Remington 700 Classic Deluxe Stainless Fluted (CDL SF) Limited Edition line was launched in 2006 with Remington releasing one new caliber offering per year. The CDL SF Limited Edition is the successor to the model 700 classic, which ran for about 25 years. The rifle features a beautiful, satin finished, American Walnut stock. It has a classic Monte Carlo comb with raised cheekpiece and a distinctive black fore-end cap. Generous skipline-cut checkering provides excellent grip on the forend and palm swell. The rifle is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and has a satin finished, stainless steel receiver, marked "700 Limited" on the left side. The 4 round internal magazine is covered by a custom, laser-engraved, limited edition floorplate. Lightweight but dependably accurate, the CDL SF series features a 22", stainless steel, fluted barrel. Hammer forged with a 1:8 twist, this barrel provides unmatched consistency and accuracy. This example show very little wear. A nice rifle for the Remington 700 collector. 6.5 Creedmoor
