Scarce Early 700 BDL .17 Remington 1st Style Fleur-de-Lis Stock, Made 1971
Description: *** SOLD AWAITING FUNDS MAX IN NY *** Remington Model 700 BDL bolt action rifle in scarce .17 Remington caliber, blued finish, early type I fleur-de-lis checkered stock with correct pistol grip cap and spacer, correct ebony fore end and spacer, original open front and rear sights with front sight hood intact, top of receiver factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting, side of receiver factory drilled & tapped for peep sight, correct Remington logo aluminum butt plate, and barrel date code puts manufacture in September 1971. CONDITION: Stock shows a few dings, otherwise excellent with sharp checkering and all of the original varnish intact. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny. Action is smooth. Bolt is numbered to match rifle. Safety works properly, as does the release for the floor plate. Barrel 85% original blue, receiver 75% original blue with some wear/turning plum on top.
