"Rare Remington Burton Model 1868 single shot rifle .45 bottleneck (AL9618) DTX

Description:
"NSN, made circa 1868-1869, .45 bottleneck, 30.25"" round barrel. Unknown number of these rifles were manufactured by Remington making it a very rare rifle. Barrel and receiver are in the bright with minor freckling visible. Bore has strong rifling with some oxidation visible in the grooves. Bolt is marked with""Burton Pat/Dec.20th1859/Aug.12th 1868"" Stock is good with minor handling wear visible. Action functions correctly, Butt plate is ""US"" marked. Remington Collection isn't complete without this rifle. (DALLAS LOCATION)
