This is a Danish made Remington M1867 rolling block chambered in 11.7x54. The 34” barrel is blued with some finish wear. The front sight is fixed near the muzzle, and on the right side of the barrel is the bayonet lug. Three steel barrel bands hold the stock to the barrel, the middle band holding the sling swivel. The rear sight is a 3-¼” ladder sight, with a secondary offset notch for long range shooting. The bore is in very good condition. The receiver is in good condition, with very few dings and some discoloration. The hammer and block are in very good condition, with very little wear. The walnut stock runs the length of the barrel to the bayonet lug. There are many dings and scratches, but the Danish crown can still be seen stamped into the buttstock and forend. The buttstock has a lightly patinated buttplate, a unit marking disk, and a sling swivel. The Danish crown is stamped on the barrel, receiver, barrel bands, stock, forend, hammer, and buttplate. The serial number is stamped on the left side of the barrel and the underside of the buttstock. Overall length is 50-½”, length of pull is 12-¾”, and weight is 8.6 lbs. Our stock number is #A280.
