Description: FINE Antique Remington Model 2 ROLLING BLOCK RIFLE .32-20 WCF Single Shot Rifle Here we present an antique Remington Model 2 Rolling Block Sporting Rifle, manufactured circa 1889 in Ilion, New York. This rifle is the classic “boy’s” rifle. It was also Remington’s smallest and lightest Rolling Block. Chambered for the venerable .32-20 WCF cartridges, it was the plinker and the game-getter for many a youth. Being a single shot, it naturally instills the “make your one shot count” mentality from a young age. This specimen features a 26-1/4 inch octagonal barrel equipped with adjustable sights. It is still a great rifle for a youngster to learn on today. This rifle has been recently shot and performed well. This is a neat old rifle with lots of life left yet! The overall condition is fine. The case colors on the frame remains vibrant. The blue on the barrel is 85%. The markings are clear. The walnut stock shows some use and remains solid and smooth.
