This gun has probably been refinished, but rather nicely. The barrel is stamped with an F B and small Fleur De Lis. It has a shiny patina of mixed blues and brown. The receiver and trigger group, a silver gray patina. There are no real pits or rust spots.
The sight and trigger mechanism function great and lock up tight. The wood is fine with no splits or dings. There is however a small sliver missing just under the rear sight on the right side.
The bore is remarkably nice. It is quite bright with well-defined riling and a touch of frost. If you can use a beautiful wall hanger that has seen some historic action. Here it is. With shipping included...... $295.
