Description:
Here is a very nice Remington 722 chambered for 300 Savage. The 300 Savage is a great round and there were not many 722s made in this caliber. This one was made in 1952 according to the YY date code on the barrel. The barrel is 24" and the bore is excellent. The rifle has the rear sight removed and replace with a blank. There is a Williams peep sight inletted and fit to the left side of the receiver. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped for scope bases with filler screws installed. It would be very easy to scope this rifle. There are quick detach push buttom sling studs installed with a nice leather sling present. Really nice example of a classic American hunting rifle in a great caliber. Thanks for looking!
