Remington ~ Model 722 ~ .22 PPC
Description: This Model 722 is in pretty good shape overall for its age. They were made from 1948 to 1962, and the ending serial numbers were in the 423,000s. This one was built during the earlier years, according to its serial number. It shows normal wear but nothing extreme. The steel is rust-free, and the wood has no bad scratches or gouges. The action is smooth and the bore is bright. It's an unusual chambering, the .22 PPC, but it comes with a set of Redding dies for reloading the round. Remington's doesn't list it as an original factory caliber, and there are no proof marks or date codes on the barrel, so it's a good bet that the rifle was re-barreled by a previous owner. It looks and feels like a quality job. The scope's glass looks clear. No box or case is included. .22 Metal Condition: Good Wood Condition: Good Bore Condition: Bright Barrels: 24 inches Fore End: Smooth walnut with sling stud Butt Pad: Smooth walnut with sling stud and metal butt plate Weight: 8 lb - 15 oz. with scope Sights: Nikon Buckmasters scope. No iron sights Item Location: Kearney, NE Price: $999.99 Contact Seller |
