Beautiful C Grade in most desirable 280 Rem Stunning Heavily Figured American Walnut Stock. Ser # prefix B Barrel Date Code CE. Med Contour barrel w/o sites. Overall condition is excellent with light field use and a few modest handling marks but no issues. Light longitudinal scratch on floor plate but did not penetrate blue.
C Grades come with distintive cut fine checkering and Rosewood forend tip and pistol grip cap. High luster polish on blue and engine turned bolt shows no sign of wear or use.
Stock professionally shortened slightly (approx 1/2") and Kick Eez Pad prof. installed. A 1" pad as was likely installed originally would bring this to within 1/4" of factory however it does not feel short with the Kick Eez pad to me as it is now.
New List Price for a C Grade is not much under 3k. We are offering this beauty for well under half of that.
