REMINGTON MODEL 700 CLASSIC "LIMITED EDITION" .250-3000 SAVAGE MADE IN 1984

Description:
Absolutely New in the Box, Unfired, Remington 700 Classic, Limited Edition rifle chambered in .250-3000 Savage. In 1981, Remington started to make the Limited Run Classic Series of their model 700 Classic that was introduced in 1978. The plan was to make a limited run of special rifles chambered in a "Classic" cartridge every year. The First year, 1981, started with the 7mm Mauser. 1982 was the .257 Roberts. 1983 was the .300 H&H Magnum. This one, in .250 Savage, was made in 1984. Each year they limited production to under 5000 rifles. At the time, I managed the Firearms department of a general merchandise store. I had always wanted a .250 Savage in a bolt action rifle and so I ordered this one. I have had it for 41 years and have only inserted the bolt into the receiver when it was first in my possession. It has been in the factory box with the original papers and packing all that time and has been stored in a climate controlled vault. There have been times that I was tempted to mount a scope and take it to the range, but I just never did. A few years after I bought it, I got hold of a pre-64 Winchester Model 70 in .250 Savage and was able to scratch that itch. Sadly, I sold the model 70 with some other nice rifles in 2002 and used the money to pay off my mortgage. 
This one is mint, unfired, and has everything that came with it originally. I think that I have priced it fairly, and I hope to find a good home for it. PAYMENT - I can accept money orders, cashier’s checks, bank checks, or personal checks (pending verification of funds).  Payments via USPS & UPS are acceptable.
My FFL dealer (Dixie Gun & Fish) securely packs and ships each firearm, following all firearms laws, and will include a signed copy of their FFL with each firearm shipped. No private sales on firearms!

SAFETY WARNING- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired, and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.

RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges both ways. Please ask questions.
Return Policy Guidelines of GunsInternational  Unless the buyer and seller agree to modify, as may be the case in a new gun, layaway, international sales and for used guns and accessories it must be clearly marked in the listing as No Return, the return policy is three (3) calendar days from the day the item(s) are received by the buyer or delivered to the FFL acting for the buyer.   The item may be returned for any reason, but the buyer must notify the seller within the three (3) calendar day inspection period.  The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a complete refund, less all shipping, transaction fees and FFL charges.  On a return the buyer must not remove the firearm from the FFL premises without approval of the seller.  Once the firearm has been received by the seller and inspected a prompt refund will be issued.  Shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item(s).  The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance i.e... Priority, Express, Blue Label etc.  The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer.  This is an inspection period only, a gun is not to be fired or disassembled.  Sellers written permission is required to allow the buyer to take down a takedown model during the inspection period. Upon the receipt and inspection of the returned gun, the seller agrees to issue a prompt refund. Recommendation: Confirm purchase with all details via the Contact Seller form within the listing and print out the listing for your records. Industry standard is that if a buyer fails to perform on a layaway that any monies deposited are forfeited.  GunsInternational recommends all layaways are agreed in writing. Any modification of the 3 day return policy must be in writing by both buyer and seller.
