Excellent WW2 US Model 1903-A3 Rifle by Remington (Four-Groove Barrel)
Description: Serial #3847184, .30-06, 24" four-groove barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This rifle has a 1-43 dated, "RA"-marked, four-groove barrel and retains 95% plus of the original parkerized finish that has silvered slightly at the muzzle, as well as along the high edges and bearing surfaces of the bolt and receiver. A commensurate amount of Du-Lite blue remains on the front sight blade, rear sight, barrel bands, floorplate / trigger guard, and magazine cut-off switch. Some very mild specks of surface freckling and dried grease are present on the bolt body and extractor. The walnut stock and handguard are in excellent, virtually unissued condition, with almost no wear or handling marks in the original oil finish. All inspector, Ordnance Dept., and production stamps are crisp and clear. An original OD canvas M1 sling is included. This is an extremely handsome '03-A3, in excellent condition overall.
