Description:
We just acquired this beautiful 78 year old" Attic Trunk Queen".
The gun retaines at worst about 98+% of the parkerized finish .
The little loss there is, is due to the usual sharp edge silvering,
The are no rust patches, scratches or rub marks anywhere.
The stock is also without any loss of lacquer due to abrasions, scratches, chips or splits
Below the pistol grip is the original "Circle P Proof".
Just above the trigger on the left side is the correct "Boxed F. J. A." Remington inspector's Cartouche"
The barrel is stamped with a "Flaming Ordinance Bomb" and below it "4-43".
The left side of the front sight hood is stamped with the Remington "R".
The right side is stamped "U.S" and another "Flaming Ordinance Bomb".
The bolt knob, bolt face magazine follower, feed ramp and extractor show no use.
The bore is bright and shiney with some slight evidence of modest use.
This will be a real a reao 10 ring blaster on the range and lovely in any collection
