This Remington U.S. Model 03-A3 is a right-hand bolt-action U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Springfield. It has a 24-inch barrel. A blade front sight and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood with a storage compartment. The forearm is a smooth grip, two-piece hardwood. Serial Number 3583449. Barrel is arsenal stamped with an RA and dated 4-43. The 03-A3 was produced during WWII to arm the rapidly expanding armed forces. It has subtle variations from the original Model 03 to reduce costs and increase production. No box. .30-06 Springfield
