Description:
This Remington 03-A3 dates to late Sept/early Oct 1943 and the barrel date of RA 8 - 43 corroborates the date. The stock has a clear "CIRCLE P" cartouche on the bottom, the cartouche in front of the trigger guard is discernible, not legible. All stamps on the metal are clear. Overall the rifle is actually quite good, with everything seeming to be correct. The bolt operates smoothly, and locks up tight, and the bore is mirror shiny but a little dark. The main issue is the stock is very dark with old oil. .30-06 Springfield
