The Remington 1903 is a legendary bolt action military rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Originally produced during WWII Remington produced over 700,000 of these rifles to arm U.S. troops when demand outpaced supply of the M1 Garand. Being extensively field in Europe but more so in the pacific theater of war with the marines it was renowned for its accuracy and reliability of being preferred over the garand in the pacific. This rifle is in very good condition and appears to be arsenal refit with a S.A. (Springfield Armory) barrel marked 3-42. .30-06 Springfield
